The Year in Review

Illinois undergraduate business programs were ranked 5th in the nation according to the survey reported in the September 1996 issue of US News & World Report. Accounting was ranked number 1. This was very welcome news, but not at all surprising to us or to the many companies that recruit our outstanding undergraduates. The college attracts bright, eager, hard-working students; offers them an excellent education, in both general and technical subjects; and the end result is well-trained young men and women who are ready to make contributions to the business community from the time they begin their first job. In time, these young people will become our business leaders.
